About The Position

As a Security Guard - Driver Patrol in Gibsonton, Florida, you will serve and safeguard clients at a retail location. You will conduct routine driving patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and employees. The role includes providing exceptional customer service, communicating professionally, and responding to security-related concerns with integrity. This is a full-time position paying $19.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Friday, and Saturday from 1:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to retail customers, associates, and visitors while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations, following established site procedures.
Monitor access points, support loss-prevention efforts, and report suspicious activity, unauthorized access, and incidents to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in a timely manner.
