About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer and Patrol Driver in Mobile, Alabama, you will serve and safeguard clients at a transportation-related location. You will drive and conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, report observations, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. The role is with Allied Universal, where teamwork, integrity, and a caring culture guide each shift. The position pays $16.50 per hour and is scheduled Wednesday and Sunday from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Requirements

Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state and/or local laws and regulations; such licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Drive as part of patrol duties.
Report observations and respond to concerns.
