About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol Security Officer in Mobile, Alabama, for a transportation-related location. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, provide customer service, and support a welcoming environment. The role involves working scheduled daytime shifts on Tuesday and Wednesday. The position pays $16.50 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen.

Requirements

• Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations using a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents.
• Communicate clearly with visitors and team members and support a welcoming environment.
