About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol Security Officer for a maritime location in Mobile, Alabama. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide customer service. The role offers a schedule of Tuesday and Wednesday, 5:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at a pay rate of $16.50 per hour. Officers can use Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts.

Requirements

• Possess a TSA-issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Complete a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Complete a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
• Communicate professionally with employees and visitors.
