About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard to serve and safeguard clients at a distribution hub. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. The guard responds to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach, and conducts regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

The position pays $19.24 per hour. Available workdays are Thursday through Sunday, with overnight shifts. Applicants must have all training certificates and an active California Guard Card.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Must have all training certificates and an active California Guard Card.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
