About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard to serve and safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role pays $19.24 per hour and requires all training certificates, an active California Guard Card, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Workdays may be any day Monday through Sunday, and available shifts include morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Have all required training certificates and an active California Guard Card.
• Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
