About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Risk Mitigation in Channahon, Illinois, serving a manufacturing and industrial location. The officer monitors and patrols assigned areas, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supports a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role requires providing customer service, communicating clearly, and responding to security-related needs with integrity. The posted schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. Pay is $19.60 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
Support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
