As a Security Officer / Driver in Perris, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will drive patrol routes, monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and support access control activities. Your visible presence and professional communication will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
