About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer - Driver for a food and beverage production location in Monmouth, Illinois. The role involves managing access points, verifying credentials, monitoring visitor activity, conducting patrols, and helping maintain a secure environment while providing customer service. It is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

The schedule is Wednesday through Saturday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.91 per hour. Applicants must meet the stated age and education requirements and are subject to background investigation and drug screening, as permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• State and/or local licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and control entry and exit of personnel, contractors, vendors, and deliveries.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating security-related matters according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, facility grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Accurately document daily activities, incidents, and access-control observations and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
