About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver in Madison, Alabama, you will serve and safeguard clients at an automotive manufacturing location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. The role includes conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter incidents, providing customer service, and communicating with site personnel. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. The position is full time and pays $17.51 per hour. The scheduled hours are 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Monitor and patrol assigned areas at an automotive manufacturing location.
Remain visible to help deter incidents and communicate clearly with site personnel.
