Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Bordentown, New Jersey, at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The role involves driving to conduct routine and random patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, responding to concerns, and providing customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors. The driver must have a valid license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The schedule is Wednesday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The position pays $19.50 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required prior to employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, and other assigned areas.
- Identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
- Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a welcoming environment.
