About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver to serve and safeguard clients at a retail location in Yuba City, California. The position involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors. It is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license. The role is part-time, with scheduled shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, at a rate of $19.50 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
A guard card or license.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and shoppers by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail and commercial areas, parking facilities, entrances, common areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location.
Report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in accurate reports.
Communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
