About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location in El Segundo, California, you will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and providing customer service. This driving position supports a mission-focused environment through clear communication, routine patrols, and teamwork. The scheduled shifts are Monday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM and Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $23.63 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Valid driver's license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may need to be met before employment.

Nice To Haves

State-, county-, or city-issued security-related license.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
Respond professionally to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations; report observations and complete required documentation.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and vehicle entry requirements according to site procedures.
Communicate promptly with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders about incidents, hazards, and operational concerns.
