About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support an aerospace and defense location in Roy, Utah. The role involves conducting patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, responding to concerns, and providing professional customer service and communication. This driving position is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay rate is $23.62 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least one year of security-related experience.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual conditions or security concerns.
Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and employee credentials according to site access-control requirements.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following post orders and escalation procedures.
Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
