About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support an aerospace and defense location in Ontario, California. The officer will use an active Department of Defense Secret clearance while helping safeguard the site and providing professional customer service and communication. The role involves routine patrols, monitoring access points, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and following site-specific security procedures. The position offers a schedule of Monday through Wednesday, 1:00 AM to 9:00 AM, with access to a platform for viewing and claiming additional shifts.

Requirements

An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
A guard card or license.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Access control or badge experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, controlled-access areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual conditions or potential security concerns.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies, visitor procedures, and access-control requirements.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Document patrol activities, incidents, and security-related observations through clear and timely reports.
