Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Clearance Required

About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer to support an aerospace and defense business location in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The officer will provide customer service while carrying out site-specific security procedures, maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, and help deter security-related incidents. Applicants must have an active DoD Secret clearance. The stated schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $23.74 per hour.

Requirements

Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders, and use problem-solving skills.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of business areas, office spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter.
Prepare accurate activity and incident reports and maintain required security-related logs.
