Security Officer Unarmed Clearance Required
About The Position
As a Security Officer Unarmed with Allied Universal, you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare and other settings. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a healthcare location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to incidents, communicate professionally with staff and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. The position is full-time in Malibu, California, and pays $26.80 per hour. The listed schedule is 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Applicants must have at least two years of security-related experience and an active DoD Secret Clearance. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, medical-related calls, and critical situations.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare-related buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor records, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with site procedures.
