About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Cleared Security Officer for an unarmed role requiring a security clearance. The officer is entrusted with sensitive information and is responsible for protecting classified information and personnel. The role includes specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with the officer’s clearance level, supporting skill development and professional growth in the security field.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Department of Defense (DoD) position-appropriate security clearance.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have at least one of the following: a minimum of three years of security experience on a DoD-cleared site or prior military experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative wireless technology at client-specific sites.

Nice To Haves

• Prior law enforcement or armed security experience.
• Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism.
• Conduct foot, bicycle, or vehicle patrols within and around the facility to protect people, assets, and sensitive or classified information.
• Greet guests and employees, and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders.
• Report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances to the client and/or other security personnel through written and oral communication.
• Respond to and assess security or emergency alarms.
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations.
