About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Clearance Required Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Boulder, Colorado. The officer will perform unarmed patrol duties, monitor assigned areas, remain visible to deter incidents, respond to security concerns, and provide customer service and clear communication. The schedule is Thursday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, Friday 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday 6:00 PM–6:00 AM. The pay rate is $30.00 per hour.

Requirements

Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience.
Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site policies.
Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and promptly while maintaining a professional presence.
