About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at an aerospace and defense location in Richardson, Texas. In this unarmed patrol role, the officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and clear communication. The position supports a team-focused culture while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity. The schedule is Thursday and Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $19.16 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
An active DoD Secret Clearance.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
A state-, county-, or city-issued security license.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, aircraft-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor credentials according to site-specific requirements.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated client contacts.
