About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed, cleared Security Officer in Littleton. The role is entrusted with sensitive information and is responsible for protecting classified information and personnel. Officers receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with their clearance level. The job location is not accessible via public transportation. The hourly pay is $26.26, with weekly pay.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Department of Defense (DoD) position-appropriate security clearance.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• At least one of the following: three years of security experience on a DoD-cleared site or prior military experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative wireless technology at client-specific sites.

Nice To Haves

• Prior law enforcement or armed security experience.
• Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality security services to safeguard personnel, property, and information professionally.
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to protect people, assets, and sensitive or classified information.
• Greet guests and employees and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders.
• Report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances to the client and/or other security personnel through written and oral communication.
• Respond to and assess security or emergency alarms.
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations.
