About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location in Carrollton, Texas, you will help safeguard clients and provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors. The role involves routine patrols and monitoring of facilities and access points, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and responding to incidents and alarms according to site protocols. The position requires an active DoD Secret Clearance and at least two years of security-related experience.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established site protocols and notification procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity according to site requirements.
Prepare accurate reports and logs of patrol observations, incidents, and security concerns, escalating information to site leadership or appropriate personnel as needed.
