About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer with an active clearance to support an aerospace and defense location in Buffalo, New York. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report activity, and provide customer service. The role is scheduled for daytime shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at a rate of $21.04 per hour. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may be required before employment. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification.
A Guard Card or license.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and verify credentials according to site requirements.
Maintain accurate activity logs and incident documentation.
Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership about security observations, incidents, and operational needs.
