About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer with an active Department of Defense Secret clearance in California, Maryland. The officer will support a technology-focused location by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and communication. The role uses technology to document observations and support site operations, working within a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, integrity, and a people-first culture. The position is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and pays $26.92 per hour. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
Active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, offices, common areas, parking locations, and the perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff documentation in accordance with company and site requirements.
