About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer to support an aerospace and defense location in Carrollton, Texas. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, and reporting concerns. The officer provides professional customer service and clear communication while helping protect personnel, property, and sensitive operations in a mission-focused environment.

The position pays $19.17 per hour. The stated schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, and Friday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM. Officers can use the company’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• An active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following post orders and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document entries, incidents, and observations according to site procedures.
• Maintain awareness of the surroundings and promptly communicate security concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting the protection of personnel, property, and sensitive operations.
