About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for an aerospace and defense location in Falls Church, Virginia. The officer will help safeguard the client site through patrols, access control support, incident response, and reporting while providing customer service to clients, employees, and visitors. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and pays $25.24 per hour.

Requirements

• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following post instructions and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, controlled areas, parking locations, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious conditions or policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.
