About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer to serve at a high-profile aerospace and defense location in West Chester, Ohio. The officer will help safeguard the site through routine patrols, a visible security presence, access monitoring, incident response, and professional customer service and communication. The role is scheduled Mondays and Tuesdays from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM and pays $25.46 per hour.

Requirements

Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
Prepare clear and accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Provide professional customer service and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
