About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer to support a dynamic aerospace and defense location in Saint Charles, Missouri. The officer will safeguard the client, monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, conduct routine site activities, and provide customer service and communication. The position pays $26.50 per hour and requires a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule has not yet been assigned and will be determined based on business needs during the hiring, onboarding, and training process.

Applicants must have at least one year of security-related experience, an active DoD Secret Clearance, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants must be at least 18 for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles. Employment is subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. State or local licensing may be required before employment; a valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Successful background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening, to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conduct emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and conduct routine site activities.
