Armed Security Officer Patrol - Clearance Required
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Security Officer Patrol Driver in San Antonio, Texas, to serve and safeguard clients at an aerospace and defense location. The role involves armed driving patrols, visible security presence, access control, incident response, and customer service in support of critical operations. The position pays $26.53 per hour. The posted schedule is Monday 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., Friday 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., and Sunday 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Employees may use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements
- An active DoD Secret Clearance.
- A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation and drug screen as permitted by law.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations while following reporting and escalation protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access control points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
- Document observations, patrol activity, incidents, and unusual conditions in clear and timely reports.
