• 3–5 years of sanitation experience.
• Strong communication skills, including basic writing ability.
• Organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily titration checks and document readings.
• Assist with additional responsibilities during staffing shortages, such as cleaning production lines.
• Follow safety procedures, report safety concerns, and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Verify team compliance with PPE requirements and maintain related documentation.
• Assist the Supervisor with daily shift huddles.
• Clean and sanitize production areas, including catch pans, bucket conveyor systems, utensils, walls, ceilings, floors, pipes, kettles, and equipment top surfaces.
• Ensure cleaning meets food safety standards.
• Complete tasks assigned by the Sanitation team or Sanitarian.
• Report damaged product-contact parts, utensils, and equipment to leadership.
• Keep sanitation equipment clean and properly covered when not in use.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Remove trash and product waste after third-shift cleaning is completed.
• Comply with OSHA safety standards, including proper PPE and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Report hazards or concerns to the Sanitation Supervisor.
• Complete pre-operational inspections in partnership with Quality team members.
• Collaborate with the Sanitation Supervisor on additional tasks and department needs.
