About The Position
As an Associate Sales Representative for Orthopaedics, you will assist in strategically promoting and selling Stryker's products to meet our customers’ needs. You confidently conduct product evaluations in Operating Room and office settings, persuasively demonstrating the value of our products. Systematically tracking your territory progress, you proactively communicate your wins with your Sales Representatives and push yourself to exceed each goal. When onsite with clients, you use your product knowledge and quick thinking to solve product problems and inform doctors, nurses, and other staff as to the proper use and maintenance of our products. Join our purpose-driven team in selling Stryker products that are making healthcare better. Proactively collaborates with internal teams/departments to promote a culture of inclusiveness and cooperation. Requirements
- University Degree
- 1+ years of professional experience
- Bilingual in English and French
- Must have a valid driver’s license
Nice To Haves
- Degree in business with an emphasis in marketing OR a degree in a health-related discipline, science, or kinesiology
- 1+ years of sales experience
Responsibilities
- Assists Sales Representatives in the promotion and sale of Stryker products
- Educates and informs doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Stryker products
- Directs product evaluations in operating rooms and office settings
- May assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings
- Keeps Sales Representative, Regional Sales Manager, and Director of Sales informed of territory progress on a regular basis
- Solves product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion
- Manages and maintains a sample inventory of products
- Has authority to recommend and initiate preventative and correction action with regard to product non-conformances and quality system activities
