About The Position
The Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting plays a key role in preparing, analyzing, and delivering accurate and timely financial statements and disclosures. The role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to interpret complex financial data. The Senior Analyst partners with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and other cross-functional teams to support compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and regulatory requirements. The position supports monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles, assists with audit activities, and contributes to process improvements that enhance reporting quality, efficiency, and consistency. The position is onsite in Knoxville, Tennessee. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- At least 3–5 years of experience.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Accounting major preferred.
- CPA strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete Sarbanes-Oxley compliance activities related to monthly, quarterly, and annual controls.
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting, and prepare and review financial reports across the company.
- Research complex financial accounting issues under GAAP.
- Assist with the annual audit by preparing quarterly and annual financial documents that support the company's external financial statement audit.
- Ensure activities comply with applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
