About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is a non-profit organization that has been in operation for 50 years. As a nonprofit, employees are not worried about company mergers, acquisitions, or new leadership teams. The organization focuses on home-grown leaders and nurses with long tenure. BAYADA offers one-to-one client care, weekly paychecks, and flexible schedules (PT and FT available, days/evenings/nights). Private duty nursing involves working full shifts (8's, 10's, or 12's) with a single client for the entire shift, often with short commutes to local clients. Common diagnoses encountered include TBI, CP, Premature Birth, Spinal Muscle Atrophy, and Epilepsy. RNs with experience in hospitals, long-term care, and schools possess directly transferable skills for home-based care.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
  • A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
  • Full-time night nurses are eligible for a $4000 sign-on bonus.

  • RNs working in hospitals, long-term care, and schools have directly transferable skills and are well-equipped to handle one client in the home.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one client care in a home setting.
