Requirements

• Dental implant experience, particularly with fixed full-arch prostheses.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the doctor to capture prosthodontic exam information for implant treatment planning.
• Partner with Sales Consultants to help deliver excellent patient care and achieve revenue targets.
• Prepare the treatment room according to prescribed procedures and protocols.
• Welcome, reassure, seat, and drape patients in preparation for dental hygiene treatment.
• Answer questions and requests from patients and employees.
• Maintain dental hygiene instruments by sharpening and sterilizing them, and selecting appropriate instruments.
• Select materials and equipment for each dental hygiene visit based on the patient's oral health.
• Perform dental prophylaxis, cleaning deposits and stains from teeth, beneath gum margins, around implant abutments and restorations, and around and beneath full-arch fixed implant restorations.
• Conduct oral cancer screening and examine gingiva and oral and peri-implant mucosa to detect periodontal and peri-implant disease and assess recession.
• Take digital radiographs.
• Clean and polish removable appliances.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative care, and remind them of their next dental hygiene visit.
• Protect patient confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and follow infection-control policies and protocols.
• Use dental resources and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Contribute to team efforts and complete related duties as needed.

Benefits

• Base salary of $53–$55 per hour.
• $3,000 sign-on bonus.
