American Express is seeking a Program Manager to support the Cybersecurity Operations organization, responsible for driving organizational alignment, operational execution, and leadership support across a complex and evolving operating model. The Cybersecurity Operations organization spans multiple functions, including Security Operations, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, and Cyber Threat Remediation. The function operates in a highly regulated environment with responsibility for protecting the enterprise against evolving cyber threats while meeting regulatory, audit, and risk management expectations. This role is accountable for ensuring leadership priorities are effectively translated into coordinated execution across the organization. The Program Manager will drive executive reporting, operating cadence, and cross-functional program delivery, while enabling informed decision-making and consistent execution against business and regulatory commitments. The role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented operator who can manage competing priorities, coordinate across multiple teams, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Team Description The Cybersecurity Operations organization is responsible for the detection, analysis, and response to cyber threats across the enterprise, as well as supporting intelligence-driven security operations and regulatory obligations. The team operates with defined processes, governance, and performance metrics to ensure consistent execution across security operations, while collaborating closely with technology, risk, legal, and audit partners to support enterprise risk management and regulatory readiness. This role supports leadership operations and execution across these functions, helping to ensure alignment, transparency, and coordination across a distributed organization.
