Program Coordinator - Downtown Programs - Harborview

About The Position
Harborview Medical Center is hiring a part-time Program Coordinator for its Downtown Programs Field-Based Team. The role is physically based at DESC’s Estelle House, a permanent supportive housing complex in Seattle developed in partnership with Harborview. The team serves unhoused and vulnerably housed people through primary care and community settings, including shelters and supportive housing, and works across outreach programs from South Seattle to North Seattle. The Program Coordinator supports communication and administrative systems across the Field-Based Team, its sister clinics, and the larger hospital system. The position is 60% FTE (24 hours per week), scheduled Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional telework may be available after a successful probationary period.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent and two years of experience in the program specialty, or equivalent education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Establish open and consistent communication with Field-Based Team staff, sister clinics, and the larger hospital system.
- Create and maintain systems for staff notifications and program reminders related to projects and deadlines.
- Take primary ownership of the online schedule.
- Manage timecards using UKG and effort certification reporting.
- Develop and maintain systems for tracking team equipment, such as cell phones and laptops.
- Revise and maintain the program policies and operations manual in consultation with the Clinic Manager and Field-Based Team leaders.
- Update and maintain program contacts, the intranet site, schedules, and resources.
- Perform other assigned duties.
