Sr. Product Manager

Storable
$160,000 - $185,000Remote

About The Position

Storable Easy is the all-in-one self-storage management platform trusted by over 12,000 facilities to run their businesses — from lead to lease to move-out. Purpose-built for single and small-facility operators, Storable Easy is the system of record — and increasingly the system of action — that powers every critical workflow: payment processing, tenant communication, collections, access control, tenant protection, and marketing websites. For our customers, Easy isn't just software — it's the backbone of their daily operations, giving them time back to focus on what matters most: growing their business. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Product Manager to own and drive the Storable Easy product forward. In this role, you will be both the strategic voice and the hands-on executor for the platform — setting product direction while also rolling up your sleeves to manage the backlog, craft user stories, and shepherd features from ideation all the way through delivery. This is also a moment of transformation. AI is reshaping what's possible for our customers and for how we build product. You'll be at the center of that — leveraging generative AI and agentic workflows to supercharge your own product management practice, while simultaneously identifying and delivering AI-powered capabilities that solve problems our customers couldn't address before. From automating the repetitive tasks that consume an operator's day to unlocking entirely new categories of product value, you'll have the mandate and the tools to push the boundaries of what a property management platform can do. The operating bar is explicit: in our Agentic Delivery Lifecycle (ADLC), AI drafts and the Senior PM curates and approves — with measurable acceleration in research synthesis, story authoring, and decision documentation. This is a highly collaborative role. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, sales, support, and implementation teams to solve real problems for our customers in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will also play a critical role in identifying and delivering cross-sell motions into Storable’s broader portfolio — Payments, Insurance, Marketing Websites, and the SpareFoot Marketplace — that expand ARPU, deepen operational dependence, and compound the value of every Easy subscription.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with B2B SaaS experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to operate at both a strategic and tactical level — comfortable setting product vision and equally comfortable writing detailed user stories and managing a sprint backlog.
  • Experience working in a nimble product delivery organization where product, design, and engineering work in close collaboration.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies, including the ability to write actionable and detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Strong mix of technical and business acumen with the ability to balance business needs, customer needs, technical considerations, and profitability.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize information from many sources and assemble those inputs into a plan to deliver the most customer value.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in complex decision-making scenarios.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize work for maximum impact.
  • Comfort with both the art (user empathy, design) and science (analytics, statistics, structured hypotheses) of product management.
  • Resourceful problem solver with creativity in finding solutions.
  • Team player who aligns with company and portfolio strategies and executes initiatives that benefit the overall organization.
  • Demonstrated, measurable use of generative AI and automation tools to enhance personal and team productivity across product management workflows — including research synthesis, strategic analysis, and content generation. Candidates should be able to articulate their personal AI productivity stack, the specific workflows they have re-architected around it, and the time or quality gains realized.
  • Experience identifying and delivering AI-powered product capabilities — designed behavior-first, with explicit evaluation harnesses and progressive rollout — that addressed problems previously considered impractical or impossible to solve with traditional approaches.
  • Experience launching and monetizing products.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing system-of-record products in property management, self-storage, or similar verticals.
  • Experience with payment processing platforms, tenant management systems, or facility operations software.
  • Track record of building and deploying AI agents or automation workflows that measurably reduced manual effort in product operations or customer-facing workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own a clear product strategy for Storable Easy, aligned with business objectives and market demands.
  • Own the product roadmap, balancing company goals, customer needs, and growth targets.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to deliver value that reinforces the customer's investment in their subscription.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback to surface opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Define and deliver OKRs for each strategic initiative.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to identify and execute cross-sell opportunities that expand Storable's share of wallet with existing customers.
  • Clearly articulate the problems to be solved for customers and quantify the value to be created.
  • Leverage generative AI tools as a core part of daily PM workflows — accelerating strategic thinking, synthesizing customer feedback, refining product positioning, and delivering high-quality analysis at speed and scale. Operate to Storable’s Agentic Delivery Lifecycle (ADLC) standard — “AI drafts, Sr. PM curates and approves” — and demonstrate compounding leverage from that workflow over time.
  • Identify and design AI-powered agents that automate repetitive tasks across product operations and customer-facing workflows, applying Storable’s behavior-first agent design pattern (define intent → design behavior → build → evaluate), freeing capacity for higher-order strategic work.
  • Evaluate how emerging AI capabilities can unlock solutions to customer problems that were previously impractical to address — and actively pursue those opportunities to create new categories of value for Storable Easy.
  • Apply a structured lens to AI opportunity assessment: know when AI is uniquely qualified to solve a problem, when it isn't, and articulate that rationale clearly to stakeholders and engineering partners.
  • Stay current on advances in AI, machine learning, and automation — and translate those developments into a concrete perspective on what they mean for self-storage operators and Storable's competitive position.
  • Serve as the product expert for Storable Easy — deeply understanding how the platform works, including its technical components, integrations, and the workflows it enables for operators.
  • Empathize with end-user challenges and build data-driven, hypothesis-based product requirements that solve pressing customer needs.
  • Conduct user research, including interviews and usability testing, to validate feature value and ensure alignment with real operator workflows.
  • Analyze KPIs to support product decisions, validate user adoption, and confirm features are delivering intended outcomes.
  • Own and maintain the product backlog — define, prioritize, and refine user stories, epics, and themes that reflect customer needs and business objectives.
  • Translate strategic requirements into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering to elaborate on stories, answer questions, and provide the context needed for effective implementation.
  • Lead and actively participate in Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve product issues that arise during the development process.
  • Balance capacity across feature development, market enablement, bug resolution, and technical debt.
  • Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle — from requirements through release.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, support, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software on time and within budget.
  • Foster strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to gather insights, address concerns, and ensure product alignment with overall business strategy.
  • Communicate the value and rationale of prioritized features clearly — including how each fits into the broader product and portfolio strategy.
  • Make data-driven decisions and continuously iterate to optimize performance and user satisfaction.
