Sr. Growth Product Manager - Mobile

“Mindlance•San Jose, CA

About The Position

Mindlance is seeking an experienced Senior Growth Monetization Product Manager for the Lightroom Mobile team on a six-month contract, providing coverage for a team member on parental leave. The person will take over an established, in-flight monetization roadmap for Lightroom on iOS and Android and own day-to-day execution from handoff through the end of the contract. The role focuses on sustaining momentum against Q1 and Q2 growth and monetization priorities and delivering the financial targets associated with the roadmap. The roadmap comprises four major programs representing an incremental Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) layer between December and April. This is a hands-on, high-accountability position. The role translates Lightroom’s premium value—including AI-powered editing capabilities, storage, credits, and advanced creative workflows—into compelling mobile upgrade experiences. It drives experimentation across the subscription lifecycle, uses data to guide decisions and prioritization, and partners with cross-functional teams to deliver and monitor iOS and Android launches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 6 years of product management experience focused on growth, monetization, subscriptions, or pricing.
  • Proven record of shipping and scaling consumer subscription experiments on mobile (iOS and Android) that moved revenue or ARR.
  • Strong experiment design and analytical skills; comfortable with funnel, cohort, retention, and LTV analysis and working directly with data.
  • Experience with paywalls, trials, offers, plan structure and pricing, and churn, save, and win-back tactics.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functionally without direct authority and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with freemium models, geo-localized pricing and offers, and propensity-based targeting.
  • Familiarity with app-store billing and subscription mechanics, such as deferred billing, pause, and plan switching.
  • Experience with AI-powered features, credits, or usage-based entitlements.
  • Prior contract or interim product management experience and a track record of clean handoffs.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day delivery and prioritization of the Lightroom Mobile monetization roadmap across iOS and Android, maintaining momentum against the approved plan and associated ARR targets.
  • Design, launch, and analyze growth and monetization experiments across acquisition, onboarding, free-to-paid conversion, upgrade, retention, save, and win-back journeys.
  • Translate Lightroom’s premium value—including AI-powered editing capabilities, storage, credits, and advanced creative workflows—into clear and compelling mobile upgrade experiences.
  • Drive experimentation across paywalls, subscription plans, trials, introductory offers, pricing, merchandising, entitlements, and lifecycle experiences.
  • Use funnel, cohort, retention, conversion, and LTV data to identify opportunities, evaluate experiment results, and make ship, iterate, or stop decisions.
  • Make prioritization and roadmap trade-offs as new data emerges while maintaining alignment with the broader Lightroom Mobile strategy and financial plan.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, Growth, Marketing, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to keep work moving and resolve dependencies.
  • Ensure iOS and Android launch readiness from requirements and experimentation design through release, measurement, and post-launch monitoring.
