About The Position

Requirements

• 5+ years Purchasing and/or Supply Chain Planning and Management experience
• 3+ years Procurement experience
• Vendor Management and/or Strategic Sourcing experience
• Experience in strategic sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, commercial agreements, and supplier performance management
• Proficient with MS Office Suite Tools: Word, Excel, etc.
• Strong ERP System knowledge ideally Syteline by Infor
• Ability to understand and interpret production build demand/forecast to develop procurement strategies and schedules to support growing business requirements
• High level of organizational skills for efficient execution of procurement responsibilities
• Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and represent BDC professionally to the supply base
• Strong overall business acumen and organizational savvy with the ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced dynamic manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related business area
• Experience in a dynamic electro-mechanical box build manufacturing environments

• Collaborate with vendors to manage priorities
• Monitor job statuses
• Track delivery performances
• Adhere to safety guidelines and business ethics
• Identify and qualify suppliers based on their capabilities and costs
• Place timely purchase orders to ensure production schedules run smoothly and efficiently
