About The Position

Based in our Scottsdale, AZ office, the Premium Auditor’s primary responsibility is to support the Premium Audit Department by conducting and processing audits within an assigned smaller territory. This role contributes to accurate premium accounting by handling phone and physical audits, processing estimated and disputed audits, and ensuring timely responses to agent inquiries. Interacts and communicates with underwriters, agents, vendors and insureds to provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Must have a strong customer service background working in a professional environment
  • Must have strong proficiency of computer programs in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel and e-mail
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Prior experience in providing training to individuals, or small groups
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out the instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to handle confidential information

Nice To Haves

  • College degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Creates premium audits within an assigned smaller territory, including both phone and physical audits.
  • Processes estimated audits and resolves disputed estimated audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assists with managing the Premium Audit email box by responding to internal and external client requests via phone and email, and screening communications to direct them appropriately to auditors, RSI Billing, or other departments.
  • Provides backup support for handling incoming requests from vendor companies , including cooperation letters, address updates, and insured/agent contact information.
  • Interacts and collaborates with team members to encourage and foster a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Completes special projects assigned by management and performs other duties as required to support departmental goals.
  • Provides assistance and support to interdepartmental personnel as requested or assigned, ensuring effective cross functional collaboration.
