About The Position

NEIS, LLC, a leader in the insurance audit and loss control prevention industry since 1945, is seeking a Premium Auditor. Premium Auditors examine the financial records of businesses insured by commercial property and casualty insurers. The role involves looking for evidence of fraud and checking that insured businesses adhere to regulations. The position is work-from-home, with required travel to policyholders’ locations within a limited territory. Compensation consists of a base wage and a weekly production bonus. Billable-hour rates vary based on experience and knowledge and range from $44 to $50 per billable hour; potential earnings are stated as $75,000 or more.

Requirements

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Two or more years of premium audit experience preferred.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Personal auto insurance meeting minimum requirements of $100,000 bodily injury per person and $300,000 per accident, or a $300,000 combined single limit.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Visual Audit and Nexus Audit.
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
Two or more years of premium audit experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct premium audits for Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, Garage, and Auto policies.
Review financial records and apply audit standards.
Schedule and perform on-site audits within the assigned territory.
Communicate with policyholders to gather required documentation.
Identify discrepancies and ensure compliance.
Prepare and submit audit reports.
