About The Position
This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. HII works within our nation’s intelligence and cyber operations communities to defend our interests in cyberspace and anticipate emerging threats. Our capabilities in cybersecurity, network architecture, reverse engineering, software and hardware development uniquely enable us to support sensitive missions for the U.S. military and federal agency partners. Mission Technologies’ Cyber & Intelligence team is seeking a highly skilled Information Operations Planner to support an upcoming, high‑impact mission at Fort Meade. This role is part of a pending contract proposal. We are actively interviewing to identify qualified candidates in anticipation of a successful award.
Requirements
- Information Ops 1: 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
- Information Ops 2: 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
- Information Ops 3 : 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Must possess an active TS/SCI/Polygraph for consideration
Nice To Haves
- Experience in information operations planning, assessment, or related military/defense operations.
- Strong understanding of joint planning processes and information-related capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements comprehensive information operations plans, strategies, and assessments in support of operational objectives.
- Integrates information-related capabilities into operational plans and orders, ensuring alignment with joint operational processes and mission requirements.
- Develop detailed IO plans and strategies that support operational goals and synchronize information-related capabilities across the force.
