About The Position

Gibbs Die Casting is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support their 3rd shift machining operations. This role involves safely moving materials, including raw materials, finished goods, and scrap, throughout the facility using powered industrial equipment. The position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, prioritize safety, and are reliable team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 6 months operating powered industrial equipment (fork truck) in a manufacturing or factory environment
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a company-issued powered industrial equipment license
  • Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and teamwork
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for an employer in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport raw materials, finished goods, and scrap to designated areas using powered industrial equipment
  • Move materials from receiving to storage areas and to final points of use
  • Prepare and stage returnable or corrugated dunnage for production
  • Complete daily equipment inspection checklists and perform basic, light maintenance as needed
  • Follow all safety, health, environmental, and quality policies, including proper use of PPE
  • Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality for scheduled hours and overtime as needed
