About The Position

The Press Operator, Imprinting runs flexographic machines that produce printed materials for prescription packaging. The role includes safely operating imprinting machines and tooling, making adjustments to equipment, checking product quality, and completing periodic paperwork and machine/product checks. The operator may also assist co-operators, prepare boxes for shipment, and maintain a clean and safe work area. Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of manufacturing experience.
• High school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle and operate assigned imprinting machines and tooling.
• Use required personal protective equipment at all times, including bump caps, hair/beard nets, safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes.
• Operate machine controls, programs, and associated equipment to produce parts and prints efficiently and to quality standards.
• Adjust machinery and equipment as needed, including clearing jams and controlling speed and product size.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance.
• Assist co-operators with various tasks as needed.
• Use tape guns to seal boxes ready for shipment.
• Secure labels onto boxes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Sort rejected product to determine quality errors.
• Complete periodic paperwork and machine/product checks.
