About The Position

The Press Operator, Imprinting runs flexographic machines that produce printed materials for prescription packaging. The operator completes periodic paperwork and machine and product checks, follows safety and quality standards, and makes equipment adjustments as needed. The position is located at 600 Vista Drive, Sparta, Tennessee, and works the 12-hour A shift. Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Requirements

Safety awareness.
Computer skills.
Basic math skills.
High school degree or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely handle and operate assigned imprinting machines and tooling.
Use required personal protective equipment at all times, including bump caps, hair/beard nets, safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes.
Operate machine controls, programs, and associated equipment to produce parts and prints efficiently and to quality standards.
Adjust machinery and equipment as needed, including dislodging jams and controlling speed and product size.
Inspect finished products for quality assurance.
Assist co-operators with various tasks as needed.
Use tape guns to seal boxes for shipment.
Secure labels onto boxes.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Sort rejected product to determine quality errors.
Complete periodic paperwork and machine and product checks.
