Requirements

• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret most documents
• Basic mechanical skills
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to then develop reasonable solutions
• Ability to maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance at scheduled work shifts
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, including following verbal and written directions

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain mixers, extruders, and extractors for their assigned production cell to ensure the highest quality and productivity at all times
• Operate, monitor, and maintain the oven exit, fife guides, slitter system, defect detection system, and the winder mandrels
• Responsible for the proper packaging of the final product and transporting the product to the packaging line
• Operating, monitoring, and efficiently pelletizing recyclable material made available for reuse as raw material replacement in ENTEK mix formulas
• Conduct physical testing of product, in process, and finished goods
• Ensure the workplace is clean and orderly
• Accurately complete databases and production logs
• Make adjustments to maintain process efficiency as needed
• Monitor and operate a continual production line to ensure achievement of performance, quality, and safety objectives
• Maintain safe operations
