Overnight SOC Operators
About The Position
Securitas is hiring two dependable, detail-oriented Security Operations Center (SOC) Operators to support daily security operations at a client site in Framingham, Massachusetts. Operators monitor security systems, respond to alarms and incidents, and help maintain a safe and secure environment. The role requires comfort with technology, effective communication, and the ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment. The position is overnight, 40 hours per week, with one of two schedules: Wednesday through Sunday, 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., or Friday through Tuesday, 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. The pay rate is $22.40 per hour.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to follow established procedures and communicate information accurately.
- Professionalism and a strong commitment to safety and security.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a Security Operations Center, command center, dispatch, or security-related role.
- Familiarity with CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring, or incident management systems.
Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, access control systems, and other security technologies.
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents according to established procedures.
- Receive, assess, and communicate alarms, emergencies, and other security-related events to appropriate personnel.
- Document incidents, security activities, and responses in daily logs and incident reports.
- Monitor access control activity and identify and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
- Communicate with security officers, site leadership, emergency responders, and other departments as needed.
- Follow established protocols for emergencies, incident escalation, and response.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information and security-related communications.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support site security operations.
