About The Position
Valley Milk, LLC is recruiting a Warehouse Operator for its powdered milk ingredient processing facility in Turlock, California. The role loads finished products onto trailers and trucks, receives inbound raw materials and supplies, and carries out warehouse activities in accordance with company, regulatory, and SQF requirements. The position is full-time and offers a stated hourly salary range of $22.00–$24.00. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; occasional holidays are scheduled on a rotating basis with other warehouse staff.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of experience operating a sit-down forklift and riding pallet jack.
- Proficiency in basic math and reading comprehension.
- Possess or attain a Forklift Operator License within 30 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trailers and trucks with product.
- Operate a forklift safely.
- Report maintenance issues and submit work orders when necessary.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and company, regulatory, quality, and sanitation requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely, using appropriate personal protective equipment such as gloves and eyewear.
- Clear cardboard, trash, and excess pallets from loading dock and receiving areas.
- Maintain a safe environment and perform duties safely at all times.
- Assist in training new operators.
- Contribute positively to team-based efforts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
