About The Position
The Assembly Operator assembles components or products according to specifications at Donaldson’s Dixon, Illinois location. This is a first-shift position scheduled Monday through Thursday, from 4:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The role involves following work instructions, inspecting completed products, safely operating tools and equipment, and keeping the work area clean and organized.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Previous experience in assembly.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing experience.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools.
Responsibilities
- Assemble parts and components according to specifications and work instructions.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure quality standards are met.
- Safely operate hand tools, small machinery, and other equipment.
