About The Position

The Shipping Assembly Operator picks and sorts products from inventory to fill orders, packages orders for shipment according to customer requests, verifies order accuracy, and prepares shipments. The role also maintains packaging-supplies inventory, assists with special projects and studies as requested, and performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in direct manufacturing.
• Good organizational skills and ability to follow directions.
• Proficient in math, reading, and computer skills.
• Able to remain standing or sitting for up to two hours at a time over the course of an 8- to 10-hour period.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Exceptional finger dexterity.
• Able to work with small parts for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

• Previous shipping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick and sort product from inventory to fill orders.
